Copyright permission

As we were not allowed to use music without copyright permission, we wrote to band asking if we could use one of there songs. This is proof that we were allowed to use their music without any copyright issues.

Music for opening sequence

To get music for our opening sequence we decided to ask a local band called "The Vindickers" for permission to use one of their songs. The song we decided to use is called "these love songs don't make sense". We thought that this song would be appropriate as the song features about love and as our genre is a Rom-Com it would be suitable. We also wanted to use this track as it is a fast paced song and our opening shows all the characters getting ready and the song fits as there is a rushed busy atmosphere. As well as this, the lyrics say "these love songs don't make sense" and in our opening it shows one of the characters nervous about getting married. Also at the end of the song it says that these love songs finally make sense which is appropriate because if we were to film the whole film it would end with the wedding and a happy ending.
